PRIEST
Following on from last year's release of their critically acclaimed debut EP, Samurai, Orlando-based synth-pop duo Priest, formerly known as X priest X and comprised of vocalist Madeline Priest and producer Dave Kazyk released their long-awaited self-titled debut album via Swedish label Emotion (oOoOO, Karl x Johan, etc) in May 2015.
The album includes the duo's previously released singles, "The Game," "Broken," "Strong Hearts" and "Staring At The Walls", which so far this year has seen the pair solidifying their role as a top act-to-watch in 2015. Gliding subtly between 80's lo-fi pop and sharply syncopated rhythms, Priest create a distinct brand of modern pop that is dark, poignant, and simply well-crafted.
