- Man Up club interrupt the cycle of violence by creating a new normal for the young black male, by making it “Cool” to be successful
- Develop outreach-intervention & advocacy strategies by establishing a rapport with police through dialog outside of a response to violence
- Address the traumatic effects of fatherlessness suffered by many of our participants by providing a healthy pool of caring professional black men to positively influence, engage and impact the lives of our young men
- Hand selected mentor leaders to become father figures to all participants
- Create a sense of family structure and dynamics though a shared sit down meals over conversations, building a life-long network and brotherhood
- Establish Man Up as a long term community support organization for black males to recover from systemic failures
- Establish Man Up as a preferred safe haven for disadvantaged and highly at-risk youth
